Path-traced liminal horror
they only move when you look away
The rule
An endless, sunlit complex of drowned swimming pools. You are not alone in it — and the things that share these rooms are patient. Keep them in your sight and they hold perfectly still. Blink, turn, glance at the way out… and the distance is gone.
Hold your gaze and they freeze. Every glance behind you, every checked corner, is an opening they take.
Tiled halls and still, mirror-flat water, folding back on themselves long past any way out. Beautiful, wrong, and impossibly easy to get lost in.
Every reflection, caustic and shadow is traced from real light. The calm is exactly what makes it unbearable.
IT MOVED.
